This Summer The Hit Factory and Nike have teamed up for a 4 Day progressive skills camp that will focus on hitting, infield, outfield, pitching and catching by an all professional coaching staff. Each day our staff will introduce new concepts and techniques while building off the previous days skills. Coach Burtzloff was named the head coach at Westlake High School in February 2016. Previously John served as the Assistant Coach at Moorpark Junior College, where he was responsible for catchers, outfielders & recruiting. John helped establish the Moorpark College Raiders baseball program again in 2014 after the program had been shut down at the end of the 2012 season. Burtzloff helped lead the Raiders to a 20-16 record in its 1st season back. In 2002, John established the Westlake Village Stars, a highly successful youth baseball program with over 150 players. John also co-founded the THF Ballplayer Showcase with Augie Garrido in 2014. This year marks the third year of this event with showcases in Westlake Village and Perth, Australia all being hosted in 2016.

Prior to joining The Hit Factory Thousand Oaks, Dustin spent 4 years as an Instructor at Elite Baseball in Orange County, CA. From 2007-2010 he was an Assistant Coach at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. His experience and expertise in hitting, infield, and outfield helped the Mustangs reach their first ever Division 1 Regional in 2009. Dustin attended high school at St. Joseph in Santa Maria, CA where he was a 3 time All Los Padres League Shortstop. In 2002, he led the St. Joseph Knights to the 2002 Division X CIF-SS Championship and was named CIF-SS Division X Player of the Year. After graduating high school, Dustin attended Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo and helped the Cougars win back-to-back Western State Conference Championships. In 2003, he was selected to the All Western State Conference Team. In 2004, Dustin was named Western State Conference Player of the Year. Shortly after, he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 15th Round of the 2004 MLB Draft. Dustin spent 3 seasons with the Red Sox reaching AA and was a member of the 2006 Eastern League Championship Team.

Woody is in his 17th year as Owner/Director of Sportswest Performance. During this time he has worked with over 100 Professional Ballplayers. Sportswest Team Development has also designed and wrote Programs that have produced over 10 Team Championships in the past Decade. In 2006, Cliffords joined forces with Harvard Graduate Dr. Marcus Elliott and P3 Peak Performance Project. For the last decade he has served as the Director of Baseball Operations. During this time P3 has trained the entire Seattle Mariners Farm System for 3 years. As a ballplayer Cliffords played for over 20 years between West Hills Baseball, El Camino Real High School, Pepperdine University, and the Baltimore Orioles Farm System. In High School Cliffords was a 2-time All State selection and 2-time City/CIF Champion. He currently holds the record for All-Time single season Batting Average (.544). At Pepperdine he was a 2-time All Conference selection and a Conference Champion. After being a 10th Round selection by Baltimore in 2001, Cliffords went on to be a 3 time Minor League All-Star and also won a League Championship.

Jordan recently graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Psychology, with honors recognition. Berger played three seasons for Arizona under three-time national coach of the year Andy Lopez. He was a member of Arizona Baseball’s 2012 National Championship team. He was selected as an Academic Champion by the Athletic Department at the University of Arizona in 2013 and 2014. Prior to being recruited by the Wildcats, he turned in a decorated career at Taft High School. A three-time CIF Los Angeles City Section All-West Valley League first team honoree (2009-11). A 2010 and 2011 CIF Los Angeles City Section All-City second team selection. And as a true freshman in 2008, was named a CIF Los Angeles City Section All-West Valley League second team member.

Marcus is the Founder and Executive Director of the Ventura County Baseball Academy (VCBA). Coach Garcia created VCBA for players who wanted to compete at a high level but wanted to do so in a positive environment that was conducive for growth and development. Coach Garcia is also beginning his 3rd season as the freshman head coach at Newbury Park High School. In 2015, Coach Garcia was voted the Newbury Park High School Baseball Coach of the Year compiling a league record of 12-2 and winning league, overall record 25-4 in two seasons. Marcus played baseball at Ventura Community College, and Channel Islands High School. In 2016, Coach Garcia became a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.

J.C. played High School Baseball at Chatsworth High School and was part of the “Perfect Season” going 35-0 where he won a Los Angeles City Section Championship as well as baseball teams 2nd consecutive National Championship title. In 2007, J.C. coached Arleta High School. In the schools first year of existence, he helped coach their varsity club to the city section small schools championship game at Dodger Stadium. In 2008, he assisted Arleta to its second of three consecutive East Valley League championships and to the city section quarter finals where they fell short. After Arleta, JC coached at Birmingham High School in 2012. Coach Barker played college baseball at Pierce College in 2009.
