Coach Burtzloff was named the head coach at Westlake High School in February 2016. Previously John served as the Assistant Coach at Moorpark Junior College, where he was responsible for catchers, outfielders & recruiting. John helped establish the Moorpark College Raiders baseball program again in 2014 after the program had been shut down at the end of the 2012 season. Burtzloff helped lead the Raiders to a 20-16 record in its 1st season back. In 2002, John established the Westlake Village Stars, a highly successful youth baseball program with over 150 players. John also co-founded the THF Ballplayer Showcase with Augie Garrido in 2014. This year marks the third year of this event with showcases in Westlake Village and Perth, Australia all being hosted in 2016.

Prior to joining The Hit Factory Thousand Oaks, Dustin spent 4 years as an Instructor at Elite Baseball in Orange County, CA. From 2007-2010 he was an Assistant Coach at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. His experience and expertise in hitting, infield, and outfield helped the Mustangs reach their first ever Division 1 Regional in 2009. Dustin attended high school at St. Joseph in Santa Maria, CA where he was a 3 time All Los Padres League Shortstop. In 2002, he led the St. Joseph Knights to the 2002 Division X CIF-SS Championship and was named CIF-SS Division X Player of the Year. After graduating high school, Dustin attended Cuesta Community College in San Luis Obispo and helped the Cougars win back-to-back Western State Conference Championships. In 2003, he was selected to the All Western State Conference Team. In 2004, Dustin was named Western State Conference Player of the Year. Shortly after, he was drafted by the Boston Red Sox in the 15th Round of the 2004 MLB Draft. Dustin spent 3 seasons with the Red Sox reaching AA and was a member of the 2006 Eastern League Championship Team. Dustin is currently in Player Development with the Los Angeles Dodgers as an infield and hitting instructor.

Marcus is the Founder and Executive Director of the Ventura County Baseball Academy (VCBA). Coach Garcia created VCBA for players who wanted to compete at a high level but wanted to do so in a positive environment that was conducive for growth and development. Coach Garcia is also beginning his 3rd season as the freshman head coach at Newbury Park High School. In 2015, Coach Garcia was voted the Newbury Park High School Baseball Coach of the Year compiling a league record of 12-2 and winning league, overall record 25-4 in two seasons. Marcus played baseball at Ventura Community College, and Channel Islands High School. In 2016, Coach Garcia became a member of the American Baseball Coaches Association.

CJ Picerni has over 20 years of baseball experience with over 15 of those coming from behind the plate. At Crespi Carmelite and Montclair Prep High School, Picerni was named one of the top catchers in his 2011 class and was invited to play in the 2010 Area Code Games as well as countless top prospect tournaments. Picerni began his collegiate career at California Lutheran University before transferring to New York University to study Sports Management. He was a 2-year captain of the inaugural NYU Baseball Team. During his 2-year term, Picerni was named to a UAA All-Tournament Team, ECAC All-Star Team, and was the 2015 NYU Baseball Team MVP. In 2016, Picerni was selected in the 31st Round of the 2016 MLB First Year Player Draft by the Washington Nationals. Currently, Picerni is the bullpen catcher for the San Jose Giants (Adv. A) MiLB affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. He resides in Thousand Oaks, CA.
